2. Nut Joints
It is common for metallic parts of cleaning machines to be fastened with nuts and bolts. These joints are often overlooked and soon get rusty. 3. Nozzles and Valves

4. Recovery Tanks
For machine models that have recovery tanks, users often forget to clean them. During the washing process, these tanks suck up the cleaning agent as it helps steady the machine. If left unattended, the wetness in tanks creates perfect conditions for mold development. Soon the tank gets laden with mold and starts to stink with a foul smell.

Check for any debris or dirt attached on the rollers and remove it. You can use a solvent to dissolve any stubborn dirt. Check the bearing and confirm that they are functioning as expected. 3. Cleaning nut joints
Every now and then use a quality lubricant to handsomely oil these parts. Make sure that bolts can rotate freely and have no rust. Make every effort to store your machines in a dry place to prevent metallic parts from rusting.

4. Caring for nozzles and valves
Valves can be very technical to clean. In fact, it is not advisable to dismantle them. The best remedy is replacing them. However, only a keen user will notice when valves start to fail. This is characterized by reduced flow of the cleaning agent. When this happens, get the valve replaced in time before it fails to work completely.
Nozzles that are clogged should be thoroughly inspected and cleaned using an appropriate cleaning agent. If scum and dirt are firmly attached to the opening, use vinegar to dissolve it.

5. Keeping recovery tanks clean
The only solution for this is to empty the tank every time you use the machine. Do not be in a hurry to store the machine. On the contrary, allow it some time to dry first. This will keep the tank clean and in good working condition.
